Graduated from School of Architecture in the University of Hong Kong in 1986, Douglas has gained extensive experience working for internationally acclaimed firms including P&T Architects and Engineers (Hong Kong), Matsuzaki Wright Architects (Vancouver), Roger Romses Architects (Vancouver), William N. Bernstein Associates (New York) and Rafael Vinoly Architects (New York).
Besides numerous institutional, commercial and residential projects that Douglas has worked on throughout his architectural career, Douglas has spent recent years focusing on healthcare projects in BC.
Douglas has been involved in numerous acute healthcare renovation projects in Emergency, CT, PET, Nuclear Medicine, MRI and Ultra Sound department as well as non-acute healthcare renovation projects like public and private health centers and senior care centers. Douglas also had the opportunity to work on a research MRI facility at New York University Hospital Center in New York which now houses one of the most advanced 7 Tesla MRI cameras in the world.
In addition, Douglas has designed many custom single family homes and laneway houses for clients in Vancouver as well as a few commercial retail stores like Sneakerbox Park Royal.
